ESTO gives back to the communities we visit. This year, ESTO registrants will be joining other Austin area volunteers packing food for the needy of Central Texas at the CENTRAL TEXAS FOOD BANK warehouse in Austin, just 20 minutes from the JW Marriott, ESTO headquarters hotel. Transportation will be provided for a nominal fee. And yes, the warehouse is fully airconditioned. :-)

The Central Texas Food Bank was established to help the hungry in the community. The Central Texas Food Bank has been at the front line of hunger relief with the help of Partner Agencies in 21 counties across Central Texas. The Food Bank provided more than 45 million pounds of food to families in need during the 2016-2017 fiscal year, the largest amount distributed since the organization’s establishment in 1982, when only 330,000 pounds of food was provided.

8:30 AM Transportation departs
9:00-11:00 ESTO Cares Event at Central Texas Food Bank
11:15 AM Transportation departs back to JW Marriott, ESTO headquarters hotel
So when you complete your ESTO registration, make sure your travel plans get you in to Austin Friday the 16th so you can join your fellow tourism marketeers at ESTO Cares Saturday morning the 17th.
